Safety at work
Some basic and important rules for every hairdresser when starting to work with straightening.
1. The client should be asked about any medical history relevant to the smoothing process, such as: sensitivity to materials, components, etc.
2. The client's hair treatment history must be known and the correct straightening must be adjusted to achieve the desired result.
3. Before each straightening process, apply the straightening agent to a hidden group of hairs on the client's head, wait a few minutes, see how the hair reacts to the straightening agent, and make a decision accordingly.
4. The straightening material does not touch the scalp during the straightening process, and is 100% washed off before performing the straightening to maintain the health of the client's scalp.
5. Do not perform hair straightening during pregnancy! Hair straightening is not tested on pregnant women at all, and the Ministry of Health does not approve any straightening during pregnancy. Additionally – you should know! Hormonal changes such as pregnancy and menstruation affect the quality of the straightening.
6. Remember. Increased caution is better than medical harm. Take responsibility for your clients and provide them with professional, high-quality care.

Required tools: hair clips, small bowl, paint brush, plastic tip comb, hairbrush, hair dryer and gloves.
Before straightening, wash your hair thoroughly with a pre-straightening shampoo, dry your hair thoroughly, it is recommended to use the straightening gel on dry hair only. Divide your hair into sections and apply the hair straightening gel about half a centimeter from the roots. Avoid contact with the skin and scalp. Divide your hair into 4 sections, twist each section as tightly as possible from the ends to the roots, roll it up and secure with a hair clip. Leave the hair straightening gel on your hair for an hour. Wet your hair with a weak stream of water for 10 seconds and dry it lightly with a fan. Take a section of hair and go over it 10-15 times at a temperature of 210 -230 degrees Celsius. Repeat the operation for all your hair. Let the hair cool for 5-10 minutes. Wash your hair with a salt-free hair shampoo after straightening. The treatment should be completed with a mask after smoothing, dried with a towel and applied serum after smoothing.
